At this time last year, at about 9 PM I was married to who I thought would be next to me through thick and thin, for the rest of my life.
Though we are not yet divorced, we are also no longer married, so this is not an anniversary by any means.
Today I celebrate the fact that this date will no longer have a meaning in my heart.
I say goodbye to Sept. 22nd and it's memories, and the innocence that went away with it.
